Regency romance novels are hitting the top charts over on Amazon and there are so many exciting ways you can start reading them! If you haven’t hopped onto this sensational trend, you really should. This week you will find various books, from seductive to clean, splattering the pages. Well-known authors have launched excellent books in the past week, and you must be one of the first to read and review them.

1. The Playboy Peer

Oh, La La, The Playboy Peer sounds like a remarkable seductive romance novel, though I haven’t gotten the chance to read it yet. However, it is by Scarlett Scott, so it is bound to be good. It is book two in the Unexpected Lords series. It will be a love’s second chance themed novel as Lady Isolde Collingwood is ditched at the altar and left heartbroken until a rake comes in and swoops her off her feet, ruining her.

2. When An Earl Loves a Governess

When an Earl Loves A Governess will be getting a review on the Lyrica Lovell website very soon. It is the fifth book in the Hellion Club series by Chasity Bowlin. Suppose you haven’t read the rest of the series. You should. It was a fascinating book that made you really feel. Unlike many light-hearted regency romance novels, When An Earl Loves A Governess dealt with some heavy topics. Overall, it is a well-written book that illustrates the love story between a governess and a widower.

3. Wooed By The Wallflower

Wooed by the Wallflower certainly has a catchy ring for the title. It is the fourth book in The Perks Of Being an Heiress series by Jillian Eaton. As I was going through the top books of the week, I had to include this one for just how catchy it is and the fact that the first two lines of the hook really reel a person in. The Wallflower has a pet squirrel, and the hero of her story is standing accused of murdering his mistress. I haven’t read this book but I want to and you should too. It sounds like one thrilling plotline.

4. The Duke Of Disorder

The Duke Of Disorder is the third book in the Rakes of Mayhem by Anna St. Claire. I have started reading this one and am halfway through it. So far, it is an effortless read that hooks you within the first chapter. So, much so, it was hard to put down. While the rest of the books in the Dukes of Mayhem are more profound, this one has been a light and fluffy Regency romance novel filled with funny banter and a loves a second chance theme. This book is a little different from many regency romance novels as it changes the point of view quite a few times throughout the story. But that could build upon the title “disorder.”

5. Educated By The Earl

Educated By the Earl By Alexa Aston is rated four stars on the Lyrica Lovell Website. It also has four flaming hearts on the intimacy scale, so it is pretty steamy. Overall this was a fantastic Regency romance novel. At first, you should be warned that you will probably hate the earl a little bit, but I think Alexa Aston writes it that way on purpose. By the end of the book, after our heroine falls in love with him, you will see him in a completely different light and love him too. Read the Lyrica Lovell Review for more details.

6. Rescued By The Lyon

So exciting, a new book in the Lyons Den Series is out! This series of books is over 21 long and counting. If you haven’t read any of them yet, they are worth diving into. Each book is written by a different author but tied together by the same great character: The Black Widow of Whitehall. She runs the notorious Lyons Den, a matchmaking and gambling club in London. Rescued By The Lyon is By CH Admirand and details the story of a ship captain who doesn’t want to make his life onshore and a lady determined to save her family.

7. Lady Scot

Jade Lee has released the second book in the Always a Scot series, Lady Scot. Jade Lee is not usually an author I read, but when I saw the book cover of the first book in the series, I just had to read it. The man on the front was a bit of eye candy, let me tell you. While it was not my favorite book, it had a nice highlander twist. This one promises the same highlander twist when the English and Scottish worlds collide.

8. The Rake Gets Ravished

The Rake Gest Ravished promises to be a rather steamy novel in the Duke Hunt series by Sophie Jordan. With a title and cover like that, how could it not? Just reading the description of this one is hook enough to want to read more. It is about a lady who tries to save her family home after being gambled away by sneaking into a notorious gaming hell owner’s home. That is going to be an exciting read.

9. The Beauty and the Beastly Duke

The Beauty and the Beastly Duke is a clean historical romance novel. It is by Tiffany Baton. According to the reviews, it has a sweet happy ever after, great beauty and the beast plotline. The lady is lovely, caring for her sisters as a spinster, while the lord is rough around the edges, exiled, and scarred. Beauty and the Beast is such a popular plotline for regency romance novels, and this one just sounds so romantic.

10. The Wallflower For The Broken Duke

The Wallflower For The Broken Duke is a Clean Regency romance novel written by Hazel Linwood. It covers the love story of and compromise of the Wallflower Harriet and Duke Arther. There are rough patches along the way in their marriage, but eventually, they overcome the twists and turns.
